‘I Want This Premier League Manager To Replace Arsene Wenger At Arsenal’- Gunners Legend Ian Wright Speaks
Burnley manager Sean Dyche is capable of replacing Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, says former Gunners striker Ian Wright.
Dyche’s side beat Everton 1-0 at Goodison Park on Sunday to move up to sixth in the Premier League table.
But Wright thinks Arsenal and other top clubs will not take a chance on the 46-year-old, and predicts Dyche will be “pushed” into taking the England job.
“I believe he is somebody that needs to go, at some stage, to the next level,” he told BBC Radio 5 live.
That would be a “club who can play in Europe on a regular basis”, added Wright, who also suggested Everton would be a good stepping stone for Dyche, who has twice won promotion to the top flight with the Clarets.
Real Madrid will be without Dani Carvajal ‘indefinitely’ because of heart problems.
The La Liga champions just published a medical report on the right-back on Saturday night.
“Following tests carried out on Dani Carvajal, he has been diagnosed with a viral pericardium infection. His recovery will continue to be assessed,” the statement read.
Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, will also be without Marcelo or Theo Hernandez against Espanyol on Sunday, meaning he will most likely have to start Achraf Hakimi on the right side of the defensive line as Nacho will play as a left back.
Zidane could also start Lucas Vázquez on the right if he feels Achraf isn’t ready to start just yet.
Carvajal recently signed a contract extension tying him to the club until 2022.
The new deal sees his release clause rise to an eye-watering £308million.
